Ann H. Gabhart is a storyteller of heartfelt tales. They are set in the mountains, with salt-of-the-earth folks. Being from the South myself, I understand the mindset of those communities. The loyalty to friends, and the love and respect of family is pressed into our hearts from the youngest moments of learning. I really enjoy her beautifully moving books. This one comes out on May 19, 2026.
