Kendy Pearson doesn’t shy away from difficult situations or horrific events that put a black eye on our nation’s history. But remembering these things will help us to never forget them and not repeat them. This well-written story will catch you and not let you go. Most of all, the reality that God loves us all, no matter our race, is immeasurably important. I’m so grateful that God loved me and found purpose in me as well.
